Australia (Aussie) Travelogue : Newcastle, NSW

Assalammualaikum

wohooo my updating-blog-mood comes back!
btw dah habis final exam hari tu alhamdulillah, and dh start a month of semester break
my goal for this semester break is to relax but still be productive haha

 🍂 Fall Trip 🍂

I feel like posting about all my travel memories while I'm studying here
plus I didn't post that much of photos in my ig so let me spam in this blog hehe
so my first travel journey (after Sydney ofc) is Newcastle
Newcastle is one of the city in New South Wales

So I went here with my friends which are mostly from KMB during the mid-semester break (on Apr)
Waktu ni tgh fall 🍂 (so the temp was about 18-28 degree celcius)
From Sydney, we rent a car for 5 people from a company called GoGet
for 3 days, each of us paid 61.3 aud for the car
LuckyMalaysians!
Our driving license is accepted here hehe so as long as you've reach 21 and have a Malaysia's driving license, you're good to go!

Our accommodation was a backpackers place haha
It's kind of funny because most of the people came to that place alone, yknow how backpackers are usually solo travelers? while on the other hand, we're of five people and we brought luggage and stuffs (no actually it's just me who brought a luggage haha). We stayed in a room that has double decker beds, the room fits 6 people so we had to share our room with a stranger. Well the man at the front desk said that we were supposed to share the room with a man, but looking at us, I guess he understands haha thankfully. So we met with this nice n pretty German lady, and to our surprise she is the same age as us! But of course she looks much more mature, and she shared with us her solo travel stories. Btw the place is more like a dorm so we have to share the toilets with man, honestly I was quite nervous cuz hey, I've never share toilets or showers with man besides my family n relatives so it was kind of a new experience for me or maybe to all of us. Plus we have to make sure that we cover our aurah properly but it wasn't that bad since orang putih ni biasa mandi sehari sekali haha. One trick is we showered early in the morning (after Fajr prayer) so that we won't bump to any of them 🤣.

Newcastle offer nice beaches and views!
And the trip won't be complete if you don't do sandboarding!
Down here are the photos I've taken at the respective places we went

On our way
Our stay
1. Newcastle Anzac Memorial Walk

2. Nobby's beach

3. Blackbutt Reserve
Okay the name of this place refers to Koalas actually 🐨 so here, we got the chance to see Koalas and few other animals in Australia and it's freee!

🐨

4. Gan Gan Hill Lookout

 5. Little Rock

6. Sand boarding
The most exciting part!

7. Bogey Hole
This place is so pretty! Just look at that natural-made pool

8. Caves beach

Worth going to Newcastle for its view and sandboarding! 🌅 Alright this is it for now.
Going to update about Blue Mountains later
Oh and I'm going for another travelling journey tomorrow, to the snowy mountains since it's winter now heheh 🏔️❄️

Sincerely from Amira Aina
